Although he knew it was a strong possibility, the reality of a mediocre Nationals left Sam searching for the best way to think about it.

Competing at Nationals made me think about focus — focus while training, focus to avoid distractions during warm-ups, focus between lifts on the next attempt, focus during the few seconds in which we execute a lift — and how it can always be improved.
